Club History
The pilot project of forming a men's soccer team comprised of the best local talent began in September of 2004, and within a year grew into a well organized premier soccer club known today as FK Pacific Soccer Club.
The later adapted idea of developing and training athletes for college and semi-pro levels of play transformed into a reality in the fall of 2005 with the addition of the head coach, Prokop Tona, a former professional player in Europe and an experienced coach, who brought the necessary structure, relentless enthusiasm, an eye for early signs of talent, and willingness to dedicate his free time to a year-round training and development of athletes.
The club soon became the most organized amateur men's soccer organization in the Pacific Northwest. The club's program proudly lists over 200 local athletes and counting, which came through the FK Pacific training system.
FK Pacific is a non-profit organization dedicated to developing local athletes. We do not pay our players, nor do we charge admission fees at our club games. The club's financial support for expenses associated with training, league play, and participation in various tournaments comes from a large group of sport enthusiasts who share our passion for the game of soccer and understand the importance of local community sports in our everyday lives.
